Staff and Visitor Registration

All World Bank Group and IMF staff, including country office, who have headquarters-issued staff IDs will be able to access the World Bank Group and IMF buildings with their staff photo ID throughout the week of the Meetings and will not need a Spring Meetings badge.

Staff do not need a Spring Meetings badge unless they are attending the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), the G20 meeting of ministers of finance and central bank governors, or the Commonwealth Finance Ministers' events. Attendance at the WBG/IMF Development Committee (DC) meeting is by invitation only, and acces is restricted to those who have been issued a DC pin.

If staff need to be registered because they are attending one of the invitation-only sessions listed above, staff should cantact their Department Coordinator. Visitor Pass Procedures

Visitor passes will not be issued for the World Bank MC building from Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11. Visitor passes for all World Bank Group and IMF buildings will not be issued from Friday, April 12, through Sunday, April 14. Guests who are invited to attend the Spring Meetings' events must register for a Spring Meetings Guest badge.

Meeting Room Requests

  • Within World Bank Group buildings: Bilateral meetings should be scheduled in office areas or in the business center conference rooms. For other meeting requests, please contact Gary Wackernah
  • Within IMF buildings: Please contact Soledad Swerdlow (202-623-5452) for all meeting requests. 

Business Centers

Inquiries regarding business center conference rooms should be directed to Business Center Operations:

A Business Lounge will be located in the lobby of the Bank's MC Building and will be equipped with lounge seating, WiFi conncetion, hoteling workstations, and staff to assist with printing, copying, and scanning.

Business Center Conference Rooms will be available for meetings of less than 40 people, and can be booked in 30-minute blocks of time (up to 2 hours).  Reservation requests for Business Center Conference Rooms are now open, and can be made until April 14, 2019.  Refer to the Business Center Conference Room information on the Venues page for information on booking a Business Center Conference Room. 

Garages and Parking

Delegation cars, staff cars, or other private vehicles will not be allowed to enter the security perimeter once it is in place. Parking in select Bank buildings will be permitted during the weekend of April 13-14. Specific instructions for each garage will be provided closer to the Meetings. 

Garages all return to normal operations on Monday, April 15.
